Abstract

PT Aksara Solopos is a company located in Griya Solopos, jl. Adisucipto 190, Solo which published newspapers. Solopos has a different concept from other newspapers. Solopos is active in newspapers, websites, twitter, Instagram, and other media. Where Solopos contains news featuring global issues. This study has a purpose, namely to find out the marketing communication strategy carried out by the Account Executive at PT Aksara Solopos in attracting advertisers' interest. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data taken using the informant technique, namely people or actors who really know and master the problem, and are directly involved with the research problem. The results of this study indicate that Solopos Account Executives in offering their advertisements first carry out several stages starting with segmentation, namely by packaging how the product can be known by many people and can be distributed to many consumers. Then Targeting is to determine the target market chosen by the company to serve as customers. Then there is the positioning that Solopos uses to attract its clients, namely by explaining that Solopos is currently a media group with the largest media network in Central Java and DIY.
