Abstract

The development of science and technology has an impact on all aspects of human life, one of which is the aspect of education. Which in the world of education, technological developments are used for the implementation of distance learning based on information and communication technology by using media supporting distance learning. In this aspect of education, one example is in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System Article 4 paragraph (1) explains that religious education in formal education and equality education programs is carried out at least in the form of religious subjects or courses. In equality education, PKBM Cahaya Rejeki Surakarta in its learning process opens distance class options including for Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study aims to describe the distance learning method for Islamic Religious Education subjects in the package C pursuit program as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the method at PKBM Cahaya Rejeki Surakarta. This research is a field research with qualitative data types and uses a sociological approach. Based on observations, interviews, and documentation, the results of this study indicate that the distance learning method for Islamic Religious Education subjects in the package C pursuit program implemented at PKBM Cahaya Rejeki includes preliminary activities (preparing and studying lesson plans, studying modules, preparing absences), core activities (selection of methods, media, distance learning resources and application of learning), and closing activities. The supporting factors are having competent tutors in their fields and the motivation of students. While the inhibiting factors are in teaching methods, learning tools, and interactions between tutors and students or students with students.
