Abstract

Mardiyah Hayati. 2022 "Management of Science Learning with TPACK for strengthening HOTS in SMP Muhammadiyah Sinar Fajar Cawas". Master of Education Administration, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Advisor I Prof. Dr. Sutama, M.Pd. Advisor II Dr. Djalal Fuady, MM. The purpose of this study was to examine the planning, implementation and evaluation of TPACK-based science learning for strengthening HOTS in SMP Muhammadiyah Sinar Fajar Cawas. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques and sources. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that (1) the TPACK approach has been included in the lesson plans made by the teacher in addition to supporting the success of IT-based learning the school has also provided various kinds of supporting facilities and infrastructure such as wifi, internet, laptops, LCD projectors and others. Teachers have also made lesson plans that use learning models that support students to think high-level (HOTS) such as discovery learning, problem-based learning (PBL) and project-based learning models (PJBL). (2) The implementation of TPACK-based learning is divided into 3 stages, namely preliminary, core activities and closing activities. In the implementation of learning the teacher uses different learning models depending on the material to be studied. Teachers also use technology assistance to carry out the learning process such as using laptops, LCDs, power points and learning videos so that learning takes place in an interesting and fun way. In addition, learning is not always carried out in the classroom but also outside the classroom by utilizing the environment around the school. teachers also use teaching aids in the learning process. (3) Evaluation or assessment is also carried out which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. Assessment is also carried out using technology such as Google Drive, Quizis and other applications. In processing the values used the help of Microsoft Excel.
