Abstract

This research is motivated because the State Junior High School 1 Banjarejo Blora is a formal educational institution that contains a curriculum that is quantitatively more religious in nature than the surrounding general education institutions, because of its geographical location on the outskirts of the city, the location of the school is classified as a remote area and not affected by the development of adequate educational facilities, infrastructure and technology, most of the people's livelihoods as farmers, farm laborers and construction workers, as well as awareness of education and student achievement is still very low and the quality of student admissions in schools is very possible. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques interview, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were Akhlak Akhlak teachers and students of SMP N 1 Banjarejo. While the data analysis method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of using the jigsaw method to students went smoothly, student activity began to be tested when the post test and when the learning process began, the scores obtained when using the jigsaw method began to improve. The obstacles experienced in learning by using the jigsaw method are that there is still a sense of shame and insecurity experienced by students and the time given in the learning process is too little so that learning using the jigsaw method is not optimal.
