Abstract

Welfare level is an indicator that shows the level of community empowerment in meeting a decent standard of living. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of welfare in 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression with cross-sectional factors covering 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. The independent variables used to explain the factors that affect the level of welfare are village funds, education level, family program funds, and dependency ratio. The results showed that the Fixed Effects Model (FEM) was chosen as the best estimation result. Village funds and education level have a positive effect on the level of welfare in 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. Meanwhile, PKH funds and dependency ratios have no effect on the level of welfare in 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. The sub-district with the highest level of welfare in Sukoharjo is known to be in Kartasura District. While the sub-district with a low level of welfare is Tawangsari District. Improved welfare can be done by developing community creativity in utilizing existing natural and human resources, creating programs to create people who are aware of nutritional health, healthy lifestyles, and health. As well as the arrangement of community life to be orderly, safe and harmonious.
