Abstract
The main problem in this study is the implementation or application of Islamic educational values to children in non-formal institutions, namely the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). The objectives of this study are 1) to describe the implementation of Islamic educational values in children at TPQ Nurunnisa Tegal City and 2) to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Islamic educational values in children at TPQ Nurunnisa Tegal City. This research is a qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. This research is located in TPQ Nurunnisa, Tegal City. In order to obtain the required data, the author uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis of this research uses the concept of Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and finally conclusions. The sources of information for this study were the head of the TPQ, teachers, students, and parents. From the results of the study it was found that: 1) The implementation of Islamic educational values for children at TPQ Nurunnisa is the first value of aqidah, namely praying, material about the pillars of faith, quizzes for prophets and apostles; the two values of worship, namely the practice of prayer and ablution, fasting Ramadan, reading iqra 'and the Qur'an, memorizing prayer readings, short letters, selected verses of the Qur'an, daily prayers and alms Friday ; the three moral values, namely honesty cooperatives, kissing the hands of parents and teachers, helping others, throwing garbage in its place and telling stories of the morals of previous prophets. 2) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors in the implementation of Islamic educational values in children at TPQ Nurunnisa, namely: Supporting factors include the role of teachers in delivering material and applying Islamic values to children with efficient methods, the role of parents as motivators who always support and help children, motivation in the child to become a person of noble character and the Islamic TPQ environment facilitates and supports the implementation of Islamic values in children. Inhibiting factors include the feeling of laziness in the child which causes the child to be less focused and not repeat the material being taught and the influence of the social environment at home that is not in accordance with the TPQ environment.
