Abstract

In the last two years, the government has issued a policy to limit activities outside the home and minimize crowding activities to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease. Currently, the learning system is 50% online and 50% face-to-face. This is very influential on the learning process, so that it has a direct impact and causes problems for the date learning process both online and face-to-face. learning problems Date of class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Pracimantoro Special Program. This research is a field research that is qualitative in nature, using a phenomenological approach. The data collection process was carried out by interview, observation and documentation with the place and subject of the research being at the Pracimantoro Special Program Muhammadiyah Junior High School, and using the data validity test technique, using the source triangulation technique. Based on the results of the research obtained, the researchers can conclude that the problems of date learning are divided into two, face-to-face and online learning problems, from the two learning problems they have many problems in common, one of which is the selection of learning methods and media that are felt still using conventional and less attractive methods for date lessons, besides that there are also 2 factors that cause learning difficulties for students, namely internal factors (factors that come from students, for example: sick, tired, lack of motivation), then external factors (factors that come from outside the students themselves, for example: limited learning time, incomplete learning media). Problems also come from online learning, including students who are less active during lessons, constrained by signals. While the efforts made by teachers to overcome the problems of face-to-face lessons are limited, including: Providing motivation to students at every meeting, improving learning strategies, and being active in subject teacher deliberations. In addition, the efforts made by teachers in overcoming online problems, including: preparing interesting learning materials, delivering material using simple language in explaining the material, teachers must also continue to monitor and manage learning well, and teachers can provide flexible time for participants. students who have limited facilities to participate in learning.
