Abstract

Individuals who work cannot be separated from stress due to stressful conditions. In life, individuals who works must have a balance in various roles, namely self, family, social, and work. One of the reasons for the individual's ability to balance their roles both working and family is the support from a significant other, namely spousal and contribute to the functioning, satisfaction, and happiness. that is in terms of marital quality. This study aims to see the relationship between spousal support and marital quality with the work-family balance. The hypotheses in this study, namely the major hypothesis 1) there is a relationship between spousal support and marital quality with work-family balance; Minor hypothesis 2) there is a positive relationship between spousal support and work-family balance, there is a positive relationship between marital quality and work-family balance. This study involved 107 people who have partners who work, children and live in Tawangmangu sub-district in Karanganyar Regency. This study uses a scale of Work Family Balance, Spouse Social Support and Marital Quality, while data collection is via google form. The results of the study prove that spousal support and marital quality together have a significant effect on work family balance, spouse's social support with marital quality (F = 56.117 Sig 0.000), there is a very significant positive relationship between spouse's social support and work family balance (F=56.117 Sig 0.000) r = 4.665, Sig. 0.000) and there is a positive and insignificant relationship between marital quality and work family balance (r = 0.931, Sig. 0.354). The effective contribution of the spouse's social support variable and the marital quality is 51.9%.
