Abstract

Stunting is a big problem in Indonesia, even a global problem because until now there has been no proper handling to overcome it. The results of the 2018 Basic Health Research conducted in Indonesia showed that 30.8% of children under five were stunted. It is known from this percentage, as many as 19.3% of children are short and 11.5% are very short. Prevention of stunting can be done by paying attention to the type of food consumed, this needs to be done by all ages so that during the growth process there is no shortage of nutrients that are important for the body. Lack of PZC and economic factors can cause stunting. As a result of these two things, the community has not been able to meet the correct and sufficient nutritional needs. In general, the problem of stunting starts from the phase of pregnancy and the growth phase of toddlers.
