Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the supervisory competence of the principal in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Gemolong. Qualitative descriptive research is the type of this research and the principal as the research subject. The research took place at Aisyiyah Kindergarten Bustanul Athfal 1 Gemolong. Data collection techniques in the study were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of the principal's supervisory competence included: (1) The planning of the principal's academic supervision program was carried out in accordance with the academic supervision instrument where the principal used two supervision techniques, namely individual and group supervision (2) The implementation of the principal's academic supervision program in perception. good, namely running based on the program plan that has been prepared (3) The report on the results of academic supervision includes for children in the form of meeting the needs of students in learning activities and for teachers in the form of training and strengthening of quality learning to support the role as a teacher (4) Follow-up supervision Academic activities consist of routine coaching and discussions with the principal. An open and democratic attitude is a principle in the implementation of supervision activities between school principals and teachers as well as public trust in the quality of schools and teacher performance in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Gemolong
