Abstract
There are four skills in language learning. The four language skills consist of listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) design. Each cycle is structured through phases, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This research procedure uses a method of observing research objects and subjects. Describes the application of picture and picture learning methods for creative writing competence of short story texts. Describe the improvement of the ability to write creatively short story texts using the picture and picture learning method.
