Abstract
Machining process using CNC milling router 3 axis, endmill chisel amount 2 flout and 4 flout used and with spindle speed of 10080 rpm for depth of cut 0.3 mm. The purpose of this study is whether there is an influence on the number of cut chiseled eyes on the degree of roughness of the surface of the workpiece resulting from machining CNC Machine Milling router 3 axis through surface roughness test (Surface roughness tester) and To find out the influence of the number of eyes cut chisel on wasted material or material removal rate (MRR), using CNC Router 3 axis machine. The results showed that for MRR (material removal rate) testing it was obtained that by using endmill chisel 4 flout many materials were left with 3.3 gr. For roughness testing, it was found that this machining process uses a 4 flout endmill chisel with a Ra value of 0.676 μm. Excess using endmill chisel 4 flout results of finer roughness.
