Abstract
ABTRACT Education is one of the most important aspects in human life, for that the author wrote this research with the theme of education with a more specific direction in fiqh education. The author chose MTS Nahdlotul Muslimat as the observation location because the school uses a method in learning that is quite interesting, namely the Active Learning method is a method that is very suitable for use in the learning process where students are asked to be more active in learning while the teacher becomes a student facilitator during learning. The purpose of this study is to describe how the application of the Active Learning method is to learning Fiqh at MTS Nahdlotul Muslimat. The author uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach where the analysis obtained comes from data obtained from the field. To obtain data the author uses several data collection techniques including interviews, field observations and also documentation. The data validity technique is through triangulation techniques and data analysis techniques using the theory of Milles and Huberman. This research involved several parties, namely the principal, teaching teachers and also students of MTS Nahdlotul Muslimat class IX. The result of this research is that the teacher has actually used the Active Learning method in carrying out the teaching and learning activities of the fiqh subject even though in the process experienced certain obstacles.
