Abstract
The hospital is an institution that provides health services and cures diseases for the community. As providers of health services to the community, hospitals are expected to meet the demands in order to provide good services. Health workers who work in hospitals are very susceptible to work fatigue due to activities in serving patients from morning, afternoon, evening, to night. The number of patients who come and go with a number that is not small every day. As a health worker, it is more impactful to experience high burnout because the profession is mostly carried out by women. Midwives are one of the health workers who participate in public health care services, but the profession that is engaged in by midwives also triggers fatigue at work. Chronic stress can lead to depersonalization and emotional exhaustion. It is necessary to improve the working conditions of midwives, so that midwives can work optimally and provide good service and have emotional well-being. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between workload and work family conflict with burnout in midwives. The subjects of this study were married midwives. The number taken as many as 55 people using purposive sampling technique. This research is quantitative research. Data collection uses three scales, namely the burnout scale, the workload scale, and work family conflict scale distributed through physical questionnaires. Data analysis used Spearman-rho multiple regression linear correlation method with rxy = 0.177 and Sig. (1-tailed) = 0.098 (p < 0.05) meaning that there is no significant relationship between the workload variable and the burnout variable. Meanwhile, there is a very significant positive relationship between work family confilt variables and burnout as evidenced by the value (rxy) = 0.544 and Sig. (1-tailed) = 0.000 (p < 0.01).
