Abstract

COVID-19 is a virus that spreads very easily. The virus first appeared at the end of 2019 in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. The easy spread of false information or hoaxes causes stigma against nurses which causes stigma towards nurses who treat COVID-19 patients. The purpose of this study was to review journals related to "Community Stigma Against Nurses Caring for COVID-19 Patients". This study used the literature review method. This study reviews 6 articles from the databases of Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed. Inclusion criteria: Published articles after 2019, articles in Indonesian or English, articles discussing stigma against nurses caring for COVID-19 patients, cross sectional research design. Exclusion criteria: articles before 2019, do not explain stigma against nurses, articles in the form of theses, theses, systematic reviews, literature reviews. The results of the study as many as 5 articles were selected and judged to indicate that the factors causing stigma are the easy dissemination of information and the lack of correct literacy that can be read in the community. Nurses are not accepted in society, disillusioned, and even expelled from their homes. Meanwhile, 1 article said that stigma had little effect on nurses.
