Abstract

Red Chillies Hotel is a hotel that stands on Jl. A. Yani No.286, Manahan, Kec. Banjarsari, Surakarta City, Central Java 57139. Like hotels in general, Red Chillies Hotel also has a reservation management sistem at the front office, but this sistem is still classified as manualusing Microsoft Excel which has experienced many problems, including difficulty recording transactions, searching data, data that are not recorded, causing difficulties and delays in the preparation of daily, monthly and annual reports. The management sistem that will be built using the CodeIgniter framework will replace the old sistem that uses Microsoft Excel, the new sistem will make it easier to record transactionsso that the preparation of daily, monthly, and annual reports can be done in a timely manner. This sistem is built web-based using MySQL database, PHP programming language, and server using Local Area Network. In use, this sistem is only used on a desktop PC at the frontoffice, but the interface of this sistem is made responsive so that it can be accessed via a smartphone for more comfortable use. The result is in this sistem there are features to manage guest data, room data, room service data, company data, and room rental transaction data in the hotel that are expected to facilitate front-office management.
