Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of protean career orientation and quality work life in organizational commitment in generation y and generation z financial sector worker in Surakarta. This study used 100 respondent, whereabout the respondent are classified as generation y (10-25 years old) and generation z (26-41 years old) and worked on financial sector and domiciled in Surakarta. The type of data used in this study is primary data. Data collected using questionnaire and processed using analysis tool Partial Least Square (PLS SmartPLS 3.2. The results of this study show protean career orientation not have a significant on organizational commitment and quality life work have a significant effect on organizational commitment.The novelty of this study states that protean career orientation not have a significant on organizational commitment in financial sector worker and quality work life have a significant on organizational commitment in financial sector worker
