Abstract
Along with the development of an increasingly advanced era, as well as increasing human growth, it has an effect on electric power which is a basic need of humans, with human electricity it is easier to carry out daily life. The addition of electrical power is basically a matter in which there is an agreement between PLN and consumers. This research basically aims to find out how the process of the agreement to add electric power between PT. PLN with consumers, related regulations as well as the rights and obligations of each party, and to find out the legal responsibilities in the agreement to add electric power between PT. PLN with consumers. The approach method used in this research is the normative approach method, in this approach the author examines legal aspects, legal principles related to legal responsibility between PT. PLN with consumers on the addition of electrical power. Then the type of research used in this study is descriptive, which means explaining and systematically analyzing the legal responsibilities between PT. PLN with consumers on the addition of electrical power. The result of this research is the agreement process for the addition of electric power between PT. PLN with consumers is carried out in three stages, namely before the agreement occurs, when the agreement occurs, and after the agreement occurs. Between PT. PLN with consumers or customers must meet the administrative requirements and legal requirements that are known by each party. An agreement can occur if between PT. PLN with consumers or customers agree to enter into an agreement to add electricity and then produce a Sales Purchase Agreement for Electricity Against the Addition of Electricity. Furthermore, a legal relationship arises between PT. PLN with consumers, regarding the rights and obligations that each party has and must carry out, and must not violate applicable regulations. If one of the parties does not carry out their obligations, then they must be responsible on the basis of default in the form of compensation according to article 1243 of the Civil Code and if one of the parties violates the laws and regulations, public order and morality related to the agreement to add electricity. , then it can be said to have committed an act against the law and is required to be responsible under Article 1365 of the Civil Code. So if all of this is proven, then he must make compensation to the injured party according to the applicable regulations.
