Abstract

This study aims to identify: 1) Fulfilling the needs of victims of COVID-19 layoffs in Puhgogor Village, 2) Efforts made by the community in meeting the living needs of Covid-19 layoffs, 3) Quality of life of victims of Covid-19 layoffs. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study taking the research location in Puhgogor Village with community sources as victims of Covid-19 layoffs. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data reduction analysis techniques, data validity by triangulation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings show: 1) Fulfilling the needs of victims of COVID-19 layoffs by knowing the economic pressures of whether the community is able to meet the needs of life because they have not got a job and income due to being laid off and Efforts made by people who have been laid off by looking for work or opening businesses to can meet the living needs of people affected by COVID-19 layoffs, 2) The quality of life of laid-off victims returns to the income earned by the community as well as income derived from land or gardens or residences. So it can be concluded that the quality of human life in meeting their needs through activities carried out in the family.
