Abstract
Instagram is one of the platforms that is now widely used to fulfill various motives of its users. In this study, using 100 respondents who were taken using probability sampling technique; simple random sampling, then calculated by the Slovin formula. These respondents produced valid data with the Pearson product moment correlation value in each item greater than 0.456 and also reliable with Cronbach's alpha value of the variable 0.6. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. To answer the hypothesis, a simple regression analysis was performed with Gratification Obtained(X) as the independent variable and Gratification Sought(Y) as the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the variable intensity of the use of Instagram on the user satisfaction variable is 3.23. Based on this description, it can be said that the initial hypothesis of this research is accepted, that there is an influence of the intensity of using Instagram on user satisfaction in finding information on the @lambeturah_official account.
