Abstract

Pacitan Regency is one of the regencies in East Java that has the potential to experience landslides. Tulakan sub-district has an up and down and hilly topography, therefore Tulakan sub-district has a fairly high incidence of landslides. There were 430 landslides that occurred in Tulakan District from 2017 to 2021. The number of landslides that occurred in Tulakan District was due to several factors driving the occurrence of landslides. Rainfall and geology are the dominant factors in the occurrence of landslides in Tulakan District. The aims of this study are (1) to analyze the level of landslide susceptibility in Tulakan sub-district, (2) to analyze the dominant factors that influence landslide susceptibility in Tulakan sub-district. The method used is tiered qualitative analysis and spatial analysis to analyze the level of landslide susceptibility in Tulakan District, while to analyze the dominant factors that affect landslide susceptibility using a frequency table. Data in the form of secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies accompanied by documentation. The unit of data analysis used is the unit of analysis of the land unit. The hazard map is the result of the overlay of several parameters such as rainfall, slope, soil type, land use and geology. The main dominant factor causing landslides is rainfall which has a high to very high level. The level of vulnerability to landslides in Tulakan District has medium vulnerability with an area of 5943.01 Ha and high vulnerability with an area of 10373.89 Ha.
