Abstract
ABSTRACT Adolescents are a very important generation in a country, but in reality juvenile delinquency is actually a very big problem for the country. In modern times like today, adolescents spend more time doing negative things and lead to behavioral deviations in their growth and development, which is commonly called juvenile delinquency. This shows the need for an effort to tackle juvenile delinquency primarily in the school environment. The research with the title "Efforts of Akidah Akhlak Teachers in Instilling Assertive Behavior to Prevent Juvenile Delinquency at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta for the 2021/2022 School Year" has a formulation of the problem, namely how the efforts of moral akidah teachers instill assertive behavior in students to prevent juvenile delinquency. This research used field research. The data sources in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data will be analyzed using deductive analysis. The theoretical foundations used are journals and theses on assertive behavior and juvenile delinquency. Based on the data analysis carried out, it was concluded that the efforts of Akidah Akhlak teachers in instilling assertive behavior to prevent juvenile delinquency at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta for the 2021/2022 School Year were with two efforts (Preventive Efforts and Repressive Efforts). Preventive efforts such as moral formation, darul arqom, critical, and the prophet's morals. While Repressive Efforts such as ESQ (Emotional Spiritual Quetion) and Punishment.
