Abstract

Along with the development of the times, the need for large equipment greatly supports development in Indonesia, as a developing country there is incessant infrastructure development carried out by the Indonesian government, therefore heavy equipment is needed to assist infrastructure development in Indonesia. Excavator is a heavy equipment that is assembled from the rod or arm (arm), stick (boom), basket (bucket) and is driven by hydraulic power which is driven by a diesel engine and is located on a chain wheel (trackshoe). Teeth bucket are prone to wear and tear, teeth bucket are one of the most important parts of an excavator because they have a major role during the penetration / excavation process. Excessive operation of the excavator will shorten the life of the teeth bucket. Replace the teeth bucket with new ones. Carry out a thorough daily check properly and correctly in accordance with the standard operation and maintenance manual. Provide direction to operators to be able to carry out standard operations, and always routinely check each component contained in the unit.
