Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic at the football club Juventus FC S.p.A for the 2018/2019-2019/2020 season by using indicators of 11 financial ratios devoted to the football industry. Plus 4 ratios, namely the ratio of liquidity, activity, profitability, and solvability. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research with one object of research in the form of Juventus FC S.p.A 2018/2019-2019/2020 season. The data collection technique used is a literature study technique by collecting relevant data and information. This study uses quantitative data types with data sources, namely secondary data. The results of the analysis show that Juventus FC's financial performance tends to decline, especially in terms of profitability due to the postponement of the competition and the fact that spectators are not allowed to see their proud club directly at the Allianz Stadium during the Covid-19 pandemic. on the other hand, the financial performance of Juventus FC is stated to be good in terms of liquidity and solvency due to the increase in assets and the ability to meet its obligations by relying on equity. Therefore, investors need to review the financial condition of a football club before making a decision to invest in a football club.
