Abstract

This research is motivated by the scope of the school where there are often indications and behaviors of students that show moral decline and violations occur. SMA IT Al Huda Wonogiri has programs that build the values of discipline and habituation of good behavior, such as getting up early in the morning, praying in congregation, tadarus Al-Quran, cleaning the environment and other activities that contain the value of moral formation of students. Moral education needs to be applied in fostering the behavior of students who have recently experienced moral degradation. This study has the objectives to: (1) To describe the implementation of moral education in the Al Huda Wonogiri Integrated Islamic High School in the moral formation of students. (2) To find out the obstacles and solutions to the implementation of moral education in fostering student behavior at Al Huda Wonogiri Integrated Islamic High School. This research is a type of field research or field research using a psychological research approach. Researchers used data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers analyzed the data with three techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The result of this research is that the implementation of moral education in fostering student behavior can be done through school intracurricular and teaching and learning activities for Islamic religious education. SMA IT Al Huda Wonogiri uses several approaches to implement moral education, namely indoctrination, value clarification, exemplary, and habituation in behavior. Inhibiting factors include: online learning and program consistency.
