Abstract
The problem that often occurs in school adolescents is the lack of concentration when studying because they are not interested and do not like the material being studied and the learning methods used. One of the supporting factors to increase learning concentration is having breakfast before school. Leaving breakfast consumption causes drowsiness, lethargy, and results in a lack of concentration in learning. This study aimed to determine the correlation between breakfast habits and learning consentration of class x students SMAN 4 Surakarta during the covid-19 pandemic. This study was observational with a cross sectional approach involving 86 respondents at SMAN 4 Surakarta as a subject. Data collection on breakfast habits used a food record for 6 days and learning concentration using a grid concentration tes questionnaire. Data analysis used Pearson product moment test. The result are Most of the respondents who were not used to breakfast had moderate learning concentration of 58% while poor learning concentration was 42% and respondents who were used to breakfast had moderate learning concentration of 72,2% while poor learning concentration was 27,7%. There was no correlation between breakfast habits and learning concentration (p=0, 264). Although there was no correlation between the independent and dependent variables, it is expected that respondents can get used to eating breakfast before going to school so that it can increase concentration in learning to be good.
