Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance mediated by intrinsic motivation. The samples collected in this study were as many as 200 respondents. The data used is primary data where data is obtained from respondents' answers through a questionnaire that has been given.The results of this study indicate that (1) transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (2) intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (3) transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on intrinsic motivation. (4) the intrinsic motivation variable is able to provide a mediating effect on the transformational leadership variable on the employee performance variable. Research implications
