Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the organizational communication strategy used between leaders and employees at the Office of Communications and Informatics of Karanganyar Regency, to determine the effectiveness of organizational communication in increasing employee motivation at the Office of Communications and Information Technology of Karanganyar Regency. The researcher uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with the type of research using a summary of research results and case studies. Research subjects are leaders and employees who work at the Office of Communications and Information Technology, Karanganyar Regency. Primary data in the form of observations and interviews. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used to obtain data in this study were in-depth interviews (Interview Guide), and direct observations in the field to leaders and employees. Researchers analyzed with a qualitative approach described descriptively. The results showed that the organizational communication strategy used between the leadership and employees at the Office of Communications and Informatics of Karanganyar Regency includes planning, by forming rules regarding discipline in working hours, directing, by setting a good example for employees, fostering a sense of togetherness, providing motivation employees through training, seminars, workshops, and others. The effectiveness of organizational communication in increasing employee motivation in the Office of Communications and Informatics of Karanganyar Regency is determined by openness, as well as good communication and cooperation with all members of the organization..
