Abstract

One of the problems of Surakarta City that has been going on for a long time is the limited green open space. Data According to the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPKMD), the total area of green open space for the entire Surakarta area in 2016 was 9.72%. Bengawan Solo Urban Forest Park is one of the green open spaces located on the banks of the Bengawan Solo river, Jebres, Surakarta which is used as a public facility. This is the first time since 2010 that, to maintain the number of as a green belt and includes community activities located in Pucang Sawit, Jebres District, with an area of about 4 hectares. Redesigning the Bengawan Solo Urban Forest Park with a waterfront architectural approach so that it is right on target according to the rules of strength (firmitas), utility (utility), beauty (venustas), and sustainability (sustainable). It is hoped that it can be a recommendation for the Surakarta City Government in building the Bengawan Solo Urban Forest Park so that it can accommodate the community in all activities, membership members for economic income, but also for ecology.
