Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the inhibiting and supporting factors in Nisrina Kartasura's Handycraft learning. The research method uses qualitative and ethnographic research design with the research subject being a studio, a tutor, and two students from the Nisrina Studio. Data collection techniques used include interviews, documentation, and data validity using source triangulation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the management of alternative learning programs through SKB Handycraft Nisrina is quite good and has been carried out optimally. The implementation of craft learning at the Nisrina Studio is carried out in stages: First, the preparation stage includes needs, tutor activities, learning activities, learning materials, and learning media. Second, the implementation stage of learning which includes preliminary activities, core activities, and closing. And, Third, the learning evaluation stage is carried out in two types, namely evaluation for extracurricular by providing confirmation in the report at the end of each semester, while in private and group learning, evaluation is carried out during the learning process. The supporting factors for the development of alternative learning at the Nisrina Handycraft studio are competent human resources and facilities and infrastructure that support learning. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of public education, partnerships, and the legality of the establishment of the Nisrina Studio.
