Abstract
Batik company "Brotoseno" is one of the retail companies engaged in selling batik located in the Sragen area. This company produces and sells various types of batik that are of interest to both young and old people. Service and sales data collection of this company still uses conventional methods using manual calculations. The use of manual calculations, makes frequent errors in calculating sales results and difficulties in recording sales data. Based on these problems the authors build an information system to help handle the transaction process and sales data collection. This system will later be developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model with Black-box testing and System Usability Scale testing methods, and is website-based. The programming language used for the development of this system is the PHP programming language combined with the Laravel Framework and the MySql database. The result of this research is a Point Of Sales information system that can be used to operate computerized bookkeeping in this company. The development of the service process and financial data collection at the batik company "Brotoseno" has been well designed and has been tested through the blackbox testing method with the results of functionality running according to the desired flow and through testing the usability scale system with a value of 70.5 obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 21 respondents.
