Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the production and processing of textile chemicals. The purpose of the research is to identify, assess risk, and carry out risk control in order to minimize the risk of work accidents and their impacts. The benefit of the research is that the output of this research will be implemented in the company in order to minimize the risk of work accidents to zero accident. The object of this research is the identification of hazards, risk assessment, and risk control contained in the production section at PT. XYZ. The method used in this research is the hierarchical method. There are 12 types of hazards in production activities with the "Extreme Risk" risk level classifier found in 5 types of hazards, the "High Risk" risk level contained in 4 types of hazards, the "Low Risk" risk level contained in 3 types of hazards. There are 13 types of hazards in scouring production with the "Low Risk" risk classifier contained in 13 types of hazards. In dyeing production there are 14 types of hazards with the classification of the risk level "High Risk" contained in 14 types of hazards. In soaping production there are 9 types of hazards with the "High Risk" classifier found in 3 types of hazards, the "Medium Risk" risk level is found in 3 types of hazards, the "Low Risk" risk level is found in 3 types of hazards. In finishing production, there are 13 types of hazards with the "Low Risk" risk classifier contained in 13 types of hazards.
