Abstract

Pacitan Regency is a city with a population that continues to increase, within a period of ten years since 2010, the population of Pacitan Regency continues to increase. This increase in population also causes an increase in the poverty rate in Pacitan Regency, with 14.5 percent of the total population of 586,110 thousand people. The poverty rate is number two out of 10 districts in the Madiun Bakorwil. This causes a person to experience mental disorders, where residents of Pacitan Regency still use the pasung method in dealing with their families who suffer from mental disorders. With the condition of Pacitan Regency, there is a lot of potential with the plan to build a Healing Center with the aim of creating a space that is used as a place for healing symptoms of anxiety and stress disorders based on recreation and entertainment. The design of this Healing Center uses an emphasis on biophilic design where this approach focuses on an approach to nature. This can be realized by applying the elements of water, vegetation, lighting, ventilation and sound that provide a sense of calm and comfort.
