Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the characteristic of the main Character in the film Promising Young Woman(2020) to face patriarchy culture. The story and the dialogue in this film is reflecting the daily life that we often meet. The paper will show the representation of how a woman on a mission to avenge her friend Nina’s rape, instill fear in the hearts by making the man who will date her when it is finished Cassie will bully her in an disrespectful way.. The writer will using qualitative method and feminist theory to collect data to support this research and answer the research questions.
