Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and networking capability on business performance with behavioral commitment as an intervening variable in Batik SMEs in Surakarta City. The sample in this study amounted to 90 respondents. This research is a type of quantitative research. The type of data used in this study is primary data by using a questionnaire using a Likert measurement scale. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the Smart PLS program. The results of this study indicate that (1) entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on behavioral commitment, (2) networking capability has a positive and significant influence on behavioral commitment, (3) entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant influence on business performance, (4) network capability has a positive and significant effect on business performance, (5) behavioral commitment has a positive and significant impact on business performance, (6) entrepreneurial orientation has a positive influence on business performance through behavioral commitment as an intervening variable, and (7) network capability has positive influence on business performance through behavioral commitment as an intervening variable.
