Abstract

An assessment of the performance and ability of the teaching staff needs to be carried out to determine the quality of the teaching staff in carrying out their duties to support the course of the educational process. Performance appraisal of each teaching staff is measured based on existing competency standards. Kabupaten Ngawi has a “e-Kinerja Kabupaten Ngawi” assessment system, but this system only focuses on activity reports and the percentage of performance targets achieved. In elementary schools, the assessment still uses the manual method so that the decision-making process is still less effective and subjective. This study conducted a comparative analysis of the profile matching method and the SAW method to find out which method was more effective to be applied to the performance assessment of teaching staff at SDN Guyung 2. The assessment was based on the results of the comparison of the sensitivity tests of the two methods. A higher percentage of sensitivity is a more effective method to use. From the comparison results of the sensitivity test, the percentage sensitivity of the profile matching method is 19.8% and the SAW method is 10.1%, so it can be concluded that the profile matching method is more effective in this case because it has a higher sensitivity percentage than the SAW method.
