Abstract
This study aims to describe the Development of Islamic Religious Education Learning Methods Based on Audio Visual Media in halal food and beverage materials. This type of research is a qualitative research, with a pedagogical approach, taking the background of SMP Islam Alhadi Mojoloban Sukoharjo. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method with steps of data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is done by conducting triangulation through two modes, namely the multiple method (interviews and direct observation), and multiple sources (the teacher and students). The results showed that audio-visual media with video playback about halal food and beverages and displaying powerpoint slides when the teacher explained online. The learning methods developed in Fiqh learning are question and answer methods, discussion methods, and demonstration methods. The development of methods carried out in Islamic Religious Education learning does not go through changing the steps, but the development of methods is carried out as usual (conventional) which is added by using audio-visual media in the form of video playback and displaying powerpoint slides during distance learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. 19.
