Abstract

The 20 kV distribution system, disturbances often occur which cause power outages. Therefore, protection equipment in the form of relays and reclosers is needed, recloser is equipment that functions to break current disturbances to open and close automatically for a while according to the setting data so that it does not occur. widespread blackouts, and distribution of the electric power system continues as it should. Coordination of OCR and recloser can be seen from the results of recalculation of the short circuit current and its TMS. The purpose of this study was to analyze the 20 kV network protection system in the 2 line 9 feeder transformer at the Jajar Substation. From the results of the subsequent recalculation, the value is simulated when a disturbance occurs in the ETAP 12.6 program. data setting existing relay incoming is 0.25 seconds, after recalculation of incoming TMS is 0.31 seconds. on the existing relay outgoing data is 0.2 seconds, after reclosing the outgoing TMS 0.13 seconds, and the existing data recloser is 0.1 seconds and the results of the recloser TMS recloser are 0.07 seconds.
