Abstract

Technology affects the ease of activities, including in the business sector, where companies use it for marketing their goods and services. Pasarlogam.com requires developing an information system for managing product stock through suppliers and metal sales to ease transactions for sellers and buyers. Presently, this industry still uses the manual buying and selling process, which is tasking, ineffective, and time-consuming. Therefore, an automated system is needed to improve the ineffectiveness associated with the manual process. The purpose of this research is to design a website-based system to ease the buying and selling of metal products. This system was designed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method comprising various stages, including needs analysis, system design, use case and activity diagrams, implementation, and testing. The results showed that the information system is useful for Pasarlogam.com to facilitate business and provide convenience for customers to access information easily and efficiently.
