Abstract
for the construction of physical facilities as well as planning, implementation, supervision and maintenance. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. Research indicators include participating in contributing ideas to development in the village, participating in providing staff assistance in the implementation of development programs in the village, participating in providing financial assistance in implementing development programs in the village, participating in providing assistance or lending work equipment to support implementation of development in the village. The results showed that planning for the development of physical facilities in Kauman Village involved the community because it was the community who knew the situation and condition of Kauman Village. The community also participates in decision making and expresses their opinions in planning the use of Kauman Village funds, this can be seen from the people who take part in meetings and express opinions, ideas and input. In the implementation of the construction of physical facilities in Kauman Village, the community participates in contributing in the form of energy in carrying out development. Supervision of the construction of community physical facilities in Kauman Village acts as an evaluation tool from the community and supervision of the process of building physical facilities. The community also has participation in supervising the management of village funds. Planned maintenance of the construction of physical facilities in Kauman Village, this maintenance is to prevent the recurrence of expensive emergency maintenance. Communities work together with each other to form a team consisting of people in each hamlet. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is participation from the community in physical development in the village.
