Abstract
The availability of karaoke entertainment in several Bandungan tourist attractions as one of the economic drivers of the community is spread in various places with varying distances so as to form a pattern of distribution of karaoke locations. All karaoke entertainment business locations are trying to provide the best service to consumers to support tourism activities in Bandungan District. However, in 2020 the karaoke business, which is one of the supporting sectors for Bandungan tourism, is also feeling the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. The objectives of this study were (1) to analyze the spatial distribution pattern of karaoke locations in the Bandungan sub-district tourism area in 2020, (2) to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on the karaoke business in the Bandungan sub-district tourism area in 2020, and (3) to analyze survival strategies in the face of The Impact of the Covid-19 Outbreak on the Karaoke Business in the Bandungan District Tourism Area in 2020. The research method used in this study was survey research and qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that (1) Analysis of the distribution pattern of karaoke business locations in Bandungan District based on Nearest-Neighbour Analysis (Nearest-Neighbour Analysis) obtains a T value (Nearest Neighbor Statistics) = 0.015 which is included in the clustered classification. (2) The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on karaoke businesses in Bandungan District, namely the average decrease in visitors by 42.50%, reduction in employees by 33.89% and a decrease in turnover by 44.79%. (3) There are indicators of survival strategies that can be identified in karaoke businesses in Bandungan District during the pandemic, namely how to survive and plan for the future. How to survive the managers in 50 karaoke business locations in Bandungan District, namely reducing visitor quotas (A), adjusting operating hours (B), reducing employees (C), requiring all business procedures (D) to be carried out 100% by all entrepreneurs and 48% of karaoke businesses offering promotion or bonus (E). As for future plans, the manager plans to carry out Antigen Test Results (A) with a percentage of 28%, cashless implementation plans (B) as much as 32%, room sterilization (C) as much as 34% and there are 2 plans that will be carried out uniformly by all karaoke business managers in Bandungan District, namely to improve visitor facilities (D) and increase promotion (E).
