Abstract

Kaliboto Green Institute (KGI) is a place for agricultural development with dry land processing to improve the community's economy, the development of livestock for better results located in Kaliboto Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar regency. Based on the potential of animal feed forage in Mojogedang District and animal feed needs in Central Java, it is still unmet. Thus, the development of the animal feed industry in the KGI area has great potential, especially for ruminant animal feed. A suitable animal feed industry is complete feed. Therefore, this effort needs to be carried out a business feasibility analysis. This study aims to determine the analysis of market and marketing aspects, technical and technological aspects, and financial aspects. The data analysis methods used are qualitative (market and marketing aspects, technical and technological) and quantitative to analyze financial aspects through three investment criteria, namely NPV, PP, and IRR. The market and marketing aspects show that market segmentation and marketing mix have been carried out. Technical and technological aspects have been carried out analysis of the needs of machines and raw materials. The financial aspect shows the PP value of 2,7 years, the NPV value of Rp2.057.470.665,00 and the IRR value of 34.8%. The results showed that in the establishment of a complete feed business, it was feasible to continue which was assessed from market and marketing aspects, technical and technological aspects and fianancial aspects.
