Abstract

Yulian Aquatic is a company engaged in the distributor of aquarium equipment such as water pump machines and air pump machines, therefore the role of the warehouse is very important. However, in reality the warehouse administration process still uses the manual method, namely by writing it down into the book, as a result, the warehouse admin experiences various problems such as stock items that are not appropriate, transaction data for incoming and outgoing goods that are not recorded properly. The purpose of this research is to create a warehouse administration system that is able to view the stock of goods in real time and make it easier for the warehouse admin to make transactions for goods in and out with the help of a barcode scanner. The purpose of using a barcode scanner is to make it easy for admins to transact goods in and out of the warehouse by simply scanning the barcode on the goods box and information on the goods can be obtained immediately. The warehouse administration system is built using the waterfall method because the development process uses a one by one model so as to minimize errors that may occur. The system was built using the PHP version 8 programming language using the Laravel version 9 framework and the MySql database and testing using black-box testing and SUS. The score from the SUS test gets an average value of 73.5, which means this system gets a good score and the system can be accepted by Yulian Aquatic. The result of this research is a warehouse administration system that successfully implements a barcode scanner to assist the transaction process.
