Abstract
A locker for storing goods with fingerprint security is a technological breakthrough that can help improve the security of personal belongings and increase efficiency because it uses a self-service system and does not need 24-hour guard. This tool emphasizes the use of the fingerprint sensor as a security in opening and locking lockers. The fingerprint sensor was chosen because each human's fingerprint is different and can be used as personal identity. The fingerprint sensor is a sensor that can read human fingerprints. Fingerprints can be used as a personal identity for each human being and can be used as a personal access key or something important. This tool is based on Arduino as a microcontroller that can read and store the received fingerprint sensor readings. This locker is designed with a microcontroller connected to the fingerprint sensor as an input instead of the usual key. Lockers for safekeeping of goods with fingerprint security can be used as a place for storing goods in public places such as mosques, stations, terminals, tourist attractions or places where many people usually leave their personal belongings. Users can deposit personal items in this locker without using a key so there is no risk of losing them, after registering their fingerprints the user can use this locker. To lock or unlock the locker, it is done by placing the finger whose fingerprint has been registered first. This tool is designed to be effective and efficient in terms of security and service compared to ordinary luggage storage lockers because it uses fingerprints as security and does not need continuous guarding. This locker with fingerprint security can make it easier to store goods and increase the security of goods in public places.
