Abstract
This population growth will certainly have an impact on the country, both negative and positive impacts. One of the impacts caused by population growth is the movement of a country's unemployment rate. The number of unemployed people in Indonesia is also relatively large and this will result in the country's economic growth. One element that plays an important role in the movement of the country's economy is the entrepreneur. The entrepreneurial spirit must be instilled from an early age, at least within the university. But in fact, data from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that the number of unemployed undergraduate graduates has almost reached one million people. Muhammadiyah University, Industrial Engineering Study Program answered this challenge by designing an entrepreneurship course program with the aim of building an interest in entrepreneurship for its students. However, the program still needs to be developed on a regular basis considering that the survey data shows that most of the alumni's jobs are dominated by private employees and not entrepreneurs. With this research, it is expected to find out what important factors can affect student interest in entrepreneurship.
