Abstract
In practice, the learning process in the blended learning system, educators try to give the best impression to students and their parents. The existence of managing the impression of interpersonal communication through real and virtual certainly has differences that can be seen through the social interactions of the two learning models. The purpose of this study is to find out how the impression management is carried out by teachers at Mutiara Bunda Tasikmadu PAUD in a blended learning system. This study uses a qualitative method with Erving Goffman's dramaturgical approach and Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) as a theory in this study. Through in-depth interviews with three PAUD Mutiara Bunda Tasikmadu teachers, it was found that the impression management that occurred on the front stage and back stage had differences that were adjusted to the background and needs of the informants. Where on the front stage the informant will act as an educator who has a role in guiding and teaching students well. The front stage is a place to present themselves in front of students and their parents in managing classes and learning. Meanwhile, on the back stage, informants tend to be themselves, which is a different person.
