Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the mechanism of the marketing strategy by recruiting resellers to increase sales at the Saras Hijab & Library Store and describe the obstacles in the marketing strategy by recruiting resellers to increase sales at the Saras Hijab & Library Store. The method used is qualitative with a case study design. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in the study are shop owners, employees, and resellers of the Saras Hijab & Library shop. While the object is the use of marketing strategies by recruiting resellers to increase sales at the Saras Hijab & Library store. The result of this research is the application of a marketing strategy by recruiting resellers is carried out by the Saras Hijab store at the beginning of having a shop kiosk in the 2017s where to join as a reseller there are no special requirements, at least you have shopped at the Saras Hijab & Library store, later the reseller will get a different price with other consumers because it will still be sold again. The obstacles in the marketing strategy by recruiting resellers to increase sales are goods must be up to date, price competition, stock of goods, customer complaints. The solution to overcome these obstacles is to always update the latest product models, maintain the quality of goods, hold promos to spend stock of goods, provide leeway by being able to exchange items that are not suitable as long as the purchase receipt is still there. So the Marketing Strategy by recruiting resellers to increase sales at the Saras Hijab & Library store can increase sales even though there are still some obstacles.
