Abstract

The electric power distribution system is the most important part in distributing electrical energy to consumers. Along with the times, the growth in the number of consumers will continue to grow, it is necessary to carry out the development of electricity distribution, so it is necessary to evaluate and analyze how the protection system works. The analysis of this protection system aims to secure and minimize damage when a short circuit occurs. This study discusses the coordination of the relay over current relay (OCR) and recloser from the feeder connected to the 150kV Mojosongo Boyolali Substation II transformer. In this study using several methods, namely conducting research and data collection at PT. PLN UP3 Klaten and 150kV substation mojosongo. The data is then processed and calculated mathematically and simulated using ETAP 12.6.0. After doing mathematical calculations, the result is that the 20kV side source impedance is 0.09 ohms. Then the positive and negative sequence resistance is 0.865 ohms and the zero sequence is 2.595 ohms. Then the impedance of positive and negative sequence conductors is 0.2162+j0.3305 and zero sequence is 0.3631+1.6180. Then the results of the calculation of recloser current settings and over current relays are obtained. In setting the current and working time the recloser gets 0.42 amperes and a working time of 0.25 seconds. Meanwhile, for setting current and time over current relay gets 2.6 amperes on the incoming side and 10.5 amperes on the outgoing side. Then for setting the working time of the overcurrent relay, it gets 0.9 seconds on the incoming side and 0.8 seconds on the outgoing side.
