Abstract

The development of website-based e-learning is a form of utilizing technology in the field of education. The use of technology in the field of education is very necessary, especially during a pandemic that forces individuals to keep their distance. SMK NU Lasem is one of the many schools affected by this pandemic, which previously used conventional learning techniques and had to switch to online learning. Based on the existing problems, website-based e-learning was developed. The existence of this website-based e-learning can facilitate the learning and teaching process without the need to meet face-to-face and make it easier for students to get the material taught by the teacher. This website-based e-learning is built using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a waterfall model, MySQL database, the Codeigniter framework, PHP programming language, and program testing with black box testing. The results of this study are in the form of website-based e-learning which can help students to make it easier to get learning materials, collect assignments, and work on questions or exams because it can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
