Abstract

The development of information technology has a positive impact on various business sectors, including the property business. The increasing competition in the property business has forced companies to take various ways to gain market share. Not a few property businesses are still doing marketing by making printed brochures and managing data manually using Microsoft Excel which is less effective and has several shortcomings. These problems are the background for the author to develop a web-based home sales information system that can be accessed with a browser on a computer or smartphone. This system was built to integrate transaction data, minimize the occurrence of sales data collection errors, also help property businesses to provide home information, market homes, and manage all transactions ranging from downpayment to credits. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model with systematic stages starting from needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of this study are a home sales information system that provides home information for prospective buyers, features consumer surveys, and manages transactions ranging from downpayment to credits. The test was carried out using the black-box method with the results of the functionality running as expected and the System Usability Scale (SUS) test which obtained letter grade B (Good) with an average result of 73.92.
